Christ the Redeemer Silhouette
If there’s ever anything you see that you can automatically associate with Rio de Janeiro, it’s the statue of Christ the Redeemer. It’s synonymous with the city itself. With my brief stay in Rio de Janeiro, I was not able to visit this tourist attraction. I was able to see it though, from afar, in the Sugarloaf mountain. The Sun was peering through the thick clouds and illuminated parts of the city down below. Among the scenery, the help of a zoom lens is the faint outline and silhouette of the famed statue.
It was good enough for me.
Have you visited the statue of Christ the Redeemer?
