The Best Gift For Travel – Tinggly

The gift of experience not things, Tinggly

What’s the absolute best gift you can give to a traveler? The “gift of travel” of course! Duh! For me at least, I have all the material things I could possibly want from expensive cars to all the expensive photography gear money could buy but at the end of the day, I just want to travel.

So how do you gift somebody an “experience” instead of material things?

Give them Tinggly! Tinggly gives the traveler in your life the freedom to choose from a simple collection of experiences and adventures in over 114 countries around the world. Tinggly is a gift that will last a lifetime once the experience and excitement have been lived. The company is a global gift-solution company that aims to gift happiness, inspiration, and memorable emotions.

STAY LIKE A LOCAL!
Do you want to know how to make travel (especially long-term) interesting? Stay like a local! To experience a place like a local rather than a tourist gives a whole new dimension to any adventure. I use Airbnb to rent anything from a room to an entire house. If that's not attractive enough, how about $55 off your first stay via Airbnb?
$55 Off Airbnb

Give stories, not stuff!

Just gifted the Pro packing cubes to a good friend and she was ecstatic about it! She said it was the best gift she got in the last 5 years so thanks a lot for the suggestion! I also got myself a nice little gift, the GOOLOO quick charge; I couldn’t resist it :).

Wow, you really are a life saver. My wife loves travelling; as her birthday is fast approaching, I didnt know what to give her but your article gave me all I wanted.

The power adapter kit is always a good idea. I can recall few situations when being desperately in need for one. :)
I’m not into camping and hammocks but would definitely try that scarf with zip pocket. That’s one accessory that I use often, scarf I mean, and it would be great if it could resolve the ever posing question – where to put my passport. :D
Thanks for the list, there are some really useful things here.

Great list and variet of gifts for any type of traveler. I literally just yelled downstairs to Darcee to add the Carry On Cocktail Kits to our Wedding Registry because when we finally leave for our honeymoon after Christmas, I would love to celebrate on our plane and pretend that we are first class without the first class costs!! haha

It kind of sounds silly but I loved the electric travel toothbrush too. I use one at home but always take a manual with me cause I don’t want to break my nice one. Plus the nice ones tend to be bulky and heavy and a pain in the butt to recharge. SO this would be a great fix.

    • September 9, 2019 Always Wanderlust Reply

I carry my electric toothbrush with me during my extended trips. It definitely helps when you can’t visit a dentist every 3 months!

I got my husband an ultralight hammock before we went camping this summer! Even though we had a cushy set up in the tent, it was SO much fun to hang out in it and enjoy the forrest – and the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I have been waffling over the Moment lenses for my iPhone. Maybe I should just bite the bulllet. Some great things on this list as we head towards Christmas.
